実験です！
特典航空券の予約サービスを使うとどんな感じなのかを体験してみました。
One mile at a time (pointspro)とMilevalueのaward booking serviceに問い合わせてみました（5/12の１０時に問い合わせしました）

I would like to spend at least 2 full days each at ANC and FAI to do sightseeing.

この他にマイルの残高などを記入しました。
希望の日程は今年の独立記念日の週末です(6/27-7/4)
事前に自分で検索しましたが、なかなか満足いく旅程が作れませんでした。
アラスカまで行けないことはないのですが、本当なら一番少なくて片道１２５００マイルで行けるはずなのに、２７０００マイルぐらい必要になったりと、ちょっとお得感がありませんでした。
果たしてどのような結果が届くのか楽しみです！

We’d generally be delighted to assist with your travel, but the flights out of Omaha seem to be a real challenge. Are you open to leaving from Kansas City, or another airport that has more flight frequencies, by chance?
There’s certainly a chance that additional award space will open up as we get closer to departure, but at this point space is just incredibly limited.

I’ve taken a look at some options, and how would something like the following work for you?
June 27 Alaska 741 Kansas City/MCI to Seattle/SEA 6:40AM to 8:25AM
June 27 Alaska 107 Seattle/SEA to Anchorage/ANC 7:15PM to 9:38PM
That would be 12,500 Alaska miles per person, plus about $6 in taxes each.
For the return we could do:
July 4 United 1209 Fairbanks/FAI to Chicago/ORD 8:15PM to 5:06AM (+1 day)
July 4 United 3480 Chicago/ORD to Kansas City/MCI 7:48AM to 9:21AM
That would be 17,500 United miles per person, plus about $6 in taxes each.
That’ll be your best option for using the minimal number of miles for a journey like this, and the connections are quite straight forward! I’d recommend proceeding with this if it suits you as summer award travel is quite limited, especially for three passengers traveling together.

しかしさすがにカンザス発が朝早い＝一泊しないといけない。
シアトルで乗り継ぎが約１２時間＝長すぎ
坊ちゃんを連れてはさすがにきついですね。

Thanks for reaching out! We did a comprehensive search on those routes for your dates and were unable to come up with any award seats. My only suggestion at this point would be to maybe use some of your Ultimate Rewards through their travel portal and just use the rewards to purchase a cash ticket.
